Grower Notes:

Hypericum patulum 'Hidcote' is commonly referred to as Hidcote St. Johnswort. It is a semi-evergreen, mounding shrub with narrowly ovate, blue-green leaves, red stems and 3" yellow saucer-shaped flowers in early summer to early fall.

Hidcote St. John's Wort is deer resistant and reliable. It thrives in full to part sun in evenly moist, well-drained soils. It can be drought tolerant once established. It is ideal for banks and slopes, cottage gardens and foundation plantings.
